1. VEGETABLE PULAV:

Ingredients:

 Rice 4 cups Carrot 100 gms
 Green chillies 2 Potato 2
 Peas  1/2 cup Onion One
 Cashew nuts 8-10 Cauliflower 1/2 cup
 Ghee 1tsp Salt to taste
 Cumeenseeds 1/2top Coriander leaves Few
 Water 8cups  

Method:

First clean the rice, wash it properly and keep it in water for some time, cut the vegetables into small pieces and cashew nuts (into small pieces) and wash properly. Heat the Ghee in a Bhagona(thick bottmed pan) put cumin seeds and alit green chillies in it, roll it with a big spoon (karchi) for some time.

Now add rice and stir it till it becomes transparent. Boil the vegetables in water with little salt till they one half boiled. Now add 8 cups of boiled water to the rice in the bhagona and cook it in low fire till it is half don. Now mix the vegetables to the rice. Add garam masala to the rice and mix the whole rice / vegetable thoroughly and keep on a low fire. Take care of the smell so that the rice does not get burnt at the bottom. When the rice is full done and is ready , spread chopped coriander leaves on to it.

Now your tasty vegetable pulao is ready to relish.


2. Fried Cauliflower:

Ingredients:

 Cauliflower 250 gms
 Gram flour (besan) 4 big spoons
 Oil Sufficient for frying
 Salt To taste
 Mango powder To taste
 Pepper powder To taste
 Water As required

Method:

  • Shred the qualiflower into small flowerlets and wash each flowerlet well.
  • Put some salt in water and boil the flowerlets in it lightly, and let it drain off.
  • Put the gram flour (besan), salt mango powder and pepper to taste I a bhagona (dish) and wipe it well.
  • Heat the oil in a thick bottomed pan (karhaai).
  • Dip the boiled flowerlets in he mixture of gram flour and get it coated evently.
  • Now fry the flowerlets in the pan, till it turns to a golden colour.
  • Put the fried cauliflower one be one in a tray.
  • Now this is ready to serve.
