Rudraksh is found in the Himalayan slopes of Nepal, Indonesia and India (Assam and Haridwar).
There are deep lines around the fruit of Rudraksh, which are called Mukh (Mouth). The Quality, nature and functions of the Rudraksh Bead are ascertained on the basis of number of Mukh (Mouuth) found on the Particular Rudraksh Bead. It is considered very sacred and auspicious ever since the ancient Vedic / Pauranik times in India. One who wears Rudraksh is most loved by Lord Shiv.
In the Old days, only saints or old age people used to wear Rudraksh , who kept on devoting there time in the worship of God. But now a days , all types of peoples are generally wearing Rudraksh, Irrespective of caste, creed , age , profession , status-Men, women , Children alike, keeping in view Its healing, medicinal and spiritual qualities.
Medicinal Qualities Of Rudraksh:-

Types Of Rudraksh :-
One Mukhi (Deepline ) Rudraksh :- It is considered Shiv Swaroop (Himself). By worshiping It Devi Laxmi Goddess Of Wealth is pleased . No enemy can ever dare to do any harm to him.
Two Mukhi Rudraksh :- By wearing and worshiping it, One gets rid of worries and leads a happy prosperous life.
Three Mukhi Rudraksh :- This saves from sins, enhances knowledge , relieves from stomach trouble and also helps avoid accidents.
Four Mukhi Rudraksh :- This is Sakshat (Present) Brahma Dev(Creator). Wearer of this becomes knowledgeable, prosperous, sweet tempered and his loved by all.
Five Mukhi Rudraksh :- This is called "Kalagni", and is considered most auspicious . It gives prosperity, Happiness, Peace and Reognition. It also removes the impurities of stomach caused by eating infectious or uneatable foods.
Six Mukhi Rudraksh :- This is called "Kartikeya", who is the son of Lord Shiv.
Seven Mukhi Rudraksh :- This is called "Anant" , i.e., Infinite.
Eight Mukhi Rudraksh :- This is the incarnation of "Shri Ganesh"
Nine Mukhi Rudraksh :- This is named "Bhairav Dev".
Ten Mukhi Rudraksh :- This is revered as Sakshat (Present) "Lord Vishnu".
Eleven Mukhi Rudraksh :- This is identified as "Rudra", another Form / Nature of "Lord Shiv".
Twelve Mukhi Rudraksh :- This is regarded as another form of Surya Dev (God Son).
Thirteen Mukhi Rudraksh :- This is named "Indra"(King Of gods).
Fourteen Mukhi Rudraksh :- This is Known as another Form of "Haniman Ji". It saves the wearer from ghosts , evil spirits, dangers and gives power and courage.
How To Use / Wear Rudraksh :-
The Rudraksh has to be worn, as per your choice and requirement, on any Monday only in the morning time, after doing due worship and Chanting of required mantra given for that Particular Mukhi Rudraksh, according to its Rulling God.
